General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions
Prospective students must submit the Common Application, including a personal essay. Students must respond to one of three Hampshire College writing supplements.
Applicants must submit current high school transcripts, a school report and counselor recommendation. Students are required to send in two teacher letters of recommendation, with up to three more letters submitted optionally.
Applicants may also opt to include the following supplemental materials:
- Video/media supplement
- Project sample of independent or collaborative project
- An interview with a Hampshire College student or counselor
