Students can apply using the Hanover College online or paper application, or using the Common Application. A writing sample must also be completed and submitted.
The submission of SAT and ACT scores are optional. Students must submit a letter of recommendation, evidence of extracurricular activities, and a high school transcript that includes the following:
- Four years of English, including literature and composition
- Two years of foreign language
- Two years of mathematics, including Algebra II
- Three years of laboratory science, recommended
- Three years of social studies, recommended
- One year of fine or performing arts, recommended
