Admissions Requirements
General Recommendations & Requirements for Admissions
Students may apply to Yale using either the Common Application or the Coalition Application. Both of these forms also require the submission of answers to Yale specific questions. The QuestBridge National College Match Application can be used for students that meet the criteria.
Applicants must submit one Counselor Recommendation, a School Report and an official transcript. A midyear report must be submitted when seventh semester grades are finalized.
Prospective students must submit two letters of recommendation from core academic teachers. It is recommended that the teachers instructed the student during junior or senior year. Students must submit scores for the SAT or ACT. There is no minimum required score for admission for either test.
