Idaho is a fairly remote state, with both beautiful national parks and reputable colleges and universities. One may think of Boise State football or the BYU campus in Idaho when this state comes to mind, but it is home to respected Liberal Arts colleges as well.
The College of Idaho is the state’s oldest private liberal arts college, enrolling just over 1,000 students, and has a very high acceptance rate. This school offers 26 majors and 55 minors to its students. It’s located in Caldwell Idaho, a city of over 46,000 people, about 30 miles from the city of Boise. Nearly every student at the College of Idaho receives some kind of financial aid.
