Guest Post Policy
We are open to relevant, high-quality, original posts from writers outside of our organization.
Our most successful posts speak to the college choice process as well as college admissions. We are especially interested in expert advice for families going through the college selection process.
Length and Original Content Only
We accept posts that are between 700-1,200 words. The tone should be light, ecouraging and educational.
We only publish original content, so please don’t waste your time or our submitting duplicate content. We do not accept posts that are overly promotional. Our goal is to educate, so posts written solely for SEO purposes will be rejected.
Promotion
We encourage you to promote your guest post on our site. At the end of the post, you may include an “About the Author” paragraph that includes 1 link to your site or social profile.
Content links inside the post should include at least 1 link out to an external authoratative site (not your own site) and an internal link to a page on our site. Be sure to link to statistics or studies referred to in your writing.
Review Process, Timing and Fee
We appreciate guest post submissions however, given the volume of requests we receive, we do not have the time to reply to every submission. If we decide to publish your post, you will hear from us within 14 days of your submission.
There is an editorial fee for posts that are published. The payment for this is due within 3 business days of the article being published or the article will be removed. It takes time for us to review submissions and make necessary edits, so this fee covers this effort.
